Kris De Leon -- BuddyTV.com
Rosenbaum takes a comedic pitch with the movie Kicking it Old Skool where he plays Kip Unger. The movie is an American comedy directed by Harvey Glazer and written by Trace Slobotkin. The film centers on an average teen in the mid-80s who gets into a coma after a break-dancing accident. He then wakes up 20 years later, tries to develop his old dancing team and struggles to catch up with the modern world. The movie, which is scheduled for release on April 20, 2007, includes Jaime Kennedy, Mario Menounos, Michelle Trachtenberg and Vivica A. Fox. Rosenbaum, a 34-year old New York native, is an actor most popularly known for his portrayal of Lex Luthor on the sci-fi adventure series Smallville. A graduate of Western Kentucky University with a degree in theatre arts, he pursued the entertainment industry and landed roles in movies like Bringing Down the House, Urban Legend, Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil, Sorority Boys, Cursed and Racing Stripes to name a few. On television, he appeared on Zoe, Duncan, Jack and Jane, Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia and Late Night with Conan OBrien. As for Dragonlance: Dragons of Autumn Twilight, this upcoming animated movie showcases Rosenbaum in a different light apart from his villainous role on the sci-fi adventure series Smallville. This time, he will be providing the voice for Tanis Half-Elven. A protagonist in the movie, this half-elf becomes the center of the story line. The movie also includes Kiefer Sutherland, Lucy Lawless, Michelle Trachtenberg, Rino Romano, and Jason Marsden. The adventure movie, directed by Will Meugniot and produced by Steven Stabler, will be released in third quarter of 2007. |
